Leeds Irish Health and Homes is a city-wide voluntary organisation, supporting and advocating on behalf of the Irish community in Leeds, including older community members and people with mental health problems, and providing direct services to Irish people, people of Irish descent and those wishing to be supported by an Irish organisation.

ServicesHousing tenancies and support to people who are homeless or insecurely housed, including some flats specifically for older people (55+) Outreach workers providing information and support on mental and physical health and wellbeing, and referrals to other services when appropriate. This can be through home visits or at the office An Irish Day Club for men and women aged 55+ is held every Friday from 12.00 noon to 3.00 p.m. at the Montague Burton Resource Centre, Roundhay Road, Leeds 8, with Irish music, food and bingo. A walking group, carers’ group and women’s group all meet monthly
