The Ramgarhia Sikh Centre provides a city wide service to the elderly of the Sikh community. Service users are all Punjabi speaking and in the age range of 60+.

ServicesLadies group (Aasra Women’s Group) meeting every Tuesday from 10 am to 3pm Transport to and from the Centre, lunch, tea and refreshments are provided at a cost of £2.50 per person. Social, health and educational activities e.g. basic computer lessons, English as a second language classes, arts & crafts, yoga, chair aerobics and general exercise classesShopping and cinema tripsMen’s group (Sahaara Men’s Group) meets every day from 2 to 6pmTea and refreshments are provided free of chargeSocial activities such as playing cards, reading books, newspapers and journals Educational and health activities e.g. computer classes, digital photography sessions and exercise classes

Help needed Punjabi speaking volunteers to help out with the women’s group (30-40 members)

The two groups are run with full support and help from South Leeds Health for All
