Leeds Service Users and Carers Alliance

Leeds Involvement Project is a service users and carers organisation. Our aim is to enable those who use community care services to take control over their own health and social care needs.

The Project supports various groups. Each of these groups tell service providers like the Health Service and Leeds City Council what they think of those services and what needs to be done to improve them.

The Alliance have been busy working on a number of issues this year including work on the fairer charging policy; adult safety protection strategies; long term care; work on affordable care; encouraging flexibility on the delivery of care, community safety issues such as contributing towards the campaign to restrict the year long sale and abuse of fireworks and keeping public accessible toilets open.
