Become a Peer Researcher and help us find out what older people think about Time to Shine
Time to Shine is a programme of activities being offered to people over 50 across Leeds to help increase their connections with other people.
The programme was designed ‘by older people, for older people’ and everything we do is driven by this principle.
We want to train and support older people over 50 as Peer Researchers to help us evaluate the effectiveness of the Time to Shine programme.
CIRCLE (The Centre for International Research on Care, Labour and Equalities), University of Sheffield is leading a partnership with Leeds Beckett and Leeds Trinity University’s to evaluate Time to Shine.
There are lots of ways in which you can get involved such as helping to facilitate focus groups.
We plan to conduct group interviews across Leeds to find out what older people think about Time to Shine and want you to help us facilitate these discussions.
You’ll be given training and support and paid for your help.
