Music Memories: Connecting older adults through music

Music House in Leeds is excited to welcome you to Music Memories, a gentle and joyful project that brings older adults together to share stories through song. Sessions run every two weeks from Tuesday 11 November, 10.30 am–12 pm, at Music House, and cost just £5, including tea and cake.

Each gathering is a relaxed 90 minutes of conversation and musical reminiscence around themes like ‘songs from our school days’, ‘the first record I bought’, ‘the first song I danced to’, our wedding song and so on.

The sessions are led by the talented Nick Wayne, a lifelong champion of live music, and Cleve Freckleton, who has spent over 50 years sharing music with people of all ages. Together, they make each session fun, engaging, and full of laughter, music, and connection.

Know someone who would love this? Please pass it on and help spread the joy of Music Memories.

Spaces are limited, so book your place today and bring a friend along! https://www.music-house.org.uk/music-memories/

The venue has an accessible space with a ramp for wheelchair access and a disabled toilet. Parking onsite is also available.
