Changes in life can uproot us and impact our sense of purpose. We can feel anchorless and unsure of what to do and, at times, who we are. Time Well Spent is a series of workshops that provide time and space to reflect on the changes that occur as we age and develop a plan for how to address them.
This course provides a space to think about past, present and future changes, including:
- Retirement
- Changes in working patterns
- Relationship changes
- New caring responsibilities
- Family changes
- Bereavement
These workshops are designed for men aged 55 and above.
Workshop highlights
- The emotional impact of change: An opportunity to reflect on when you have navigated change well
- Relaxation techniques: Discover practical ways to manage stress and regulate emotions
- Mental wellbeing: Explore common mental health challenges and what this means for you
- Emotional resilience: Exploring self-care and stress management
- Connecting with others: Looking at different opportunities within your local area
What to expect
The groups will be small (around 10 people), and workshops are designed to be interactive and engaging. Each session will include presentations, group discussions, and personal activities.
We will create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where participants feel comfortable sharing their experiences and learning from one another.
