Dying Matters Community Grants 2026

Dying Matters Week aims to help people talk more openly about dying, death and bereavement, and to make plans for the end of life. 

Funding available: Small Grants up to £300 is available for one off events.

Dying Matters 2026 Community Grants Application form  

Organisations in Leeds are invited to apply for a Dying Matters Leeds Community Grant to deliver an event or activity in their local community during Dying Matters Week (4-10th May 2026).  

To give you inspiration, below is a small selection of possible events: 

  • A social activity or event, with local or national Dying Matters resources on display (visit Leeds Public Health Resource Centre or the Hospice UK Dying Matters website for access to resources).  
  • An afternoon of activities, including the screening of Dying Matters films and talks from local bereavement associations and funeral directors. 
  • A Dying Matters arts competition. 

 Deadline: 11.59pm Sunday 29th March 2026.
