Study investigating younger and older adults’ visual memory.

The University of Leeds is currently recruiting for a study investigating younger and older adults’ visual memory.

What’s involved?

A set of online questionnaires and a single in-person session at The University of Leeds. You will be asked to complete a visual memory task whilst your brain activity is measured using functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS). They will also look at how your eye movements may change throughout.

Research participant criteria

  • Aged 65-85 
  • Currently living independently in the UK
  • Native English speaker 
  • Normal or normal-to-corrected vision
  • No known motoric, neurological, or psychiatric conditions
  • Able to visit Leeds University

Online and In-person

Duration

Between 60-90 minutes
