The Halflife Project: Help shape programmes that counter ageism

Profile image for Jenni Scott

Communications and Relationships Manager

The Halflife Project is an exciting new five-year research study funded by the European Research Council that examines how society views older age and, crucially, how people aged 60 and over can help challenge it.
The project aims to find practical ways to change:

  • how society views ageing
  • the negative thoughts about ageing we might accidentally direct at ourselves

How you can help

The project requires volunteers to join up to six 1-hour co-design sessions [these are online and times and dates are to be decided].
In these sessions, you will try out and provide feedback on activities designed to improve how older people feel about their own age and others’.

How to take part

If you are aged 60+ and want to help design this vital project, please contact:
Dr Rachel Crossdale (rachel.crossdale@biu.ac.il)

or

Dr Ohad Green (green.ohad@biu.ac.il) for more details

All participants will receive a £20 gift voucher per session as a goodwill gesture for their time.
