Chair, LOPF

I’m very pleased to announce that LOPF has now appointed a new Chief Executive Officer, Jo Volpe, who will start on July 6.

Jo is currently working for the Centre for Ageing Better, as their representative in Leeds. She has considerable experience and understanding of the issues facing older people.

It’s now about a year since Rachel Cooper left LOPF. In that time Linda Glew has been acting CEO, while continuing her work with Time to Shine, and with setting up Enhance. I greatly appreciate Linda for all that she has done, and continues to do, for LOPF. Doing two jobs has not been easy and she’s coped admirably.

Linda has been very well supported by Ali, Hillary and the whole staff team. They all deserve our warmest thanks.

Jo will be joining a wonderful team!
