Resilient older women in the spotlight

Profile image for Rob Cook

A fantastic range of activities will be run to celebrate International Day of Older People (IDOP) 2022 in Leeds. This year’s theme – the resilience and contributions of older women – has really inspired creativity. From Swarcliffe to Swarthmore, photos to fashion, and 30 September to 18 October,  14 organisations will provide opportunities to listen, to watch and above all to take part.

Check and share the details – help Leeds and all our communities acknowledge and celebrate the resilience and contributions of older women, to the citizens and the city of Leeds.

IDOP Leeds is organised by Leeds Older People’s Forum with the support of Leeds City Council Public Health, Leeds City Council Adults & Health and Leeds City Council Equality and Diversity, Safer and Stronger Communities Team.
